MARIE-BRIZARD MASTERS

Summer Solstice
Château Berliquet

Date: Wednesday, 20 June, 2018.
Venue: a Grand Cru Classé Saint-Emilion vineyard.
Number of guests: 120.

The Château wanted to receive its guests amid its vineyards, in the heart of countryside, in a festive and informal atmosphere. The brief was to offer the guests a unique and memorable experience making this a must-attend event.

The 1st part of our mission: how to create the impression of a banquet laid out very simply in the unspoilt countryside?
Respecting the Château's ethos, we staged and decorated the location in a very natural manner - as natural as if the hand of the man had simply accompanied the objects there - but without any artifice. The subtlety of intentions was our central theme to achieve a perfect visual balance.

The 2nd part of our mission: the selection and management
of the service providers.
Following the central theme, we selected and managed the service providers to ensure the total comfort of the guests and create the atmosphere sought. The smooth execution of the event was important to guaranteeing the guests' enjoyment.

The 3rd part of our mission: logistics management. As the site was bare, we had to supply electricity and various other conveniences.
We also managed the access to the site by organising transport and personalised welcomes.

Château Troplong Mondot

Date: Thursday, 5 April 2018
Venue: Château Troplong Mondot. Number of guests expected: Around 100.

The property wanted to present the new management's strategy to the Bordeaux wine trade and decision makers at a special reception.
- First-class hospitality as befits Château Troplong Mondot
- Quirky scenography, to reflect the period of transition;
- Warm atmosphere in line with the property's historical and family past.

The 1st part of our mission: to represent change, to express the notion of time and to depict the new phase in Château Troplong Mondot's history taking two scenographic routes: - a vegetal and floral scenography:
a château invaded by nature, a renaissance brought by the spring
- the showcasing of the architecture: a graphic and calligraphic treatment, artful spotlighting of the venue.

The 2nd part of our mission: the strategic use of space.
Following the central theme, we created different places where the visitors would walk around this family home:
Upon entering the château, the guests were directly immersed in a universe of plants, representing the idea that nature had taken over the château.
The guests discovered calligraphed sentences posted on both sides of the wall (quotations, definitions, key words).

One room was set out like a design office; The idea being to express and illustrate the transition that the château is currently undergoing through elements illustrating the change underway and attesting to this ongoing evolution.

Château Beychevelle

Date: April 2018 Venue: Château Beychevelle Number of guests expected: Around 2,500 over 3 days

The Clémence Coiffe agency wanted to take visitors on a voyage to the heart of Château Beychevelle. With this UGC (Union des Grands Crus) tasting, we wanted to encapsulate the values of the UGC to create a unique and memorable experience.

The 1st part of our mission: the quality of the hospitality. Taking into account the insights and technical issues, we wanted to draw attention to the professional quality of the château's hospitality. Our keywords were fluidity - simplicity - functionality - the enjoyment of the taste buds.

The 2nd part of our mission: a representative aesthetic identity The decoration would be based on visual and sensory imperatives, echoing the history of this property with its legends and its invitations to travel. Our keywords: sail - plant kingdom - terroir - untreated materials

The 3rd part of our mission: to prolong the memory of the event. Through the notion of shared pleasure, an integral part of the château's DNA, we made the event an important bonding experience . Our keywords: art-innovation (classical music and jazz)

We managed the various competition spaces and workshops by creating the staging and decoration in line with the objectives, and by producing the hosting of the event to ensure the creation of a very special emotional atmosphere.

The 2nd part of our mission: Logistics management.
To ensure the smooth execution of this busy programme aimed at a cosmopolitan audience, we carefully managed the event's overall timing and the timing per space.. We organised and supervised the catering and the breaks. We also created various visual supports, including signage..
